Week 12

We all love our camera phones we whip them out at the sight of a smile, an awkward moment, or a moment that we want to remember. A camera phone is such a wonderful peace of technology but for a while it has been only held to making images finer and more detailed. Now the average everyday camera phone can become a microscope, a highly functioning microscope that does not require a lens to process an image.  An electrical engineer at UCLA has developed a functioning microscope. I think that the invention of this has opened the door for simplifying medical technology. It may allow help to someone in a remote village better receive medical help for an injury or illness. I think it’s a step in almost a Star Trek like hospital where we may do away with those EVIL NEEDLES
